A unique venue with a wide variety of fun, food, and Cherokee fellowship! We will meet at the outdoor gathering place of Matthew and Jennifer Scraper located at 6701 South Richland Road, Mustang, Oklahoma 73064. Our only impediment will be bad weather.
Meeting time is 6PM to 8PM. Food will be served. Indian Tacos and Fry Bread! If these food items are not on your dietary schedule, feel free to BYOBB (bring your own brown-bag). While chairs and tables are available at the Scraper Grounds, consider bringing your favorite lawn chair. A host of games (Cherokee and non-tribal) will be offered. We are extending a special invitation to the 40 students who participated in the 30-hour Cherokee Language Class a month ago. They will be visiting about keeping a “talking circle” and we plan to have them describe their class experience for those who are considering participating in a future class.
No long presentations…………….just Cherokees doing what they do best………eat, visit, and be of care for one another.
We hope to see you on the 19th!
